Bringing light into the real estate ‘black box’: Launch of the Allthings Platform Analytics (APA)

Written by Thomas Ulrich | 25. September 2019

Until now it was difficult for real estate owners to understand what is happening in their buildings, why vacancies occur and how they can improve their offers for residential and commercial tenants. In order to conquer this ‘black box’, Allthings has launched its new Allthings Platform Analytics (APA) which provide information about the daily events in buildings.

Clients of the tenant-focused Allthings platform, that is currently being used by over 100 medium-sized to large real estate companies in Europe, can from now on see what is happening in their properties. Clearly structured dashboards give answers to relevant questions: How many tickets have been submitted via the service center of the tenant app? What’s the average process time of handling tenant concerns by property manager and neighborhood? Are the main issues contract-related or damage claims?

At the same time, it becomes visible which local partner offers are most sought-after by tenants, which content is popular, and which isn’t. Based on that information real estate owners can decide how to extend their service portfolio per building or neighborhood in order to provide further value to their tenants. In addition, they can run tests – as its already common in other industries – to see which newly introduced services are well used and liked by tenants.

Dr. Tina Burkhardt, Chief Customer Operations Officer at Allthings about APA: “Our mission is to improve the life and work in buildings. That can be best done in our opinion when real estate owners know, based on hard data, what their tenants want and which service level they have in each building. As technology provider the development of our analytics platform was the logical next step for us in order to increase the transparency for our clients and real estate owners about what’s happening in buildings.”
